The Iowa Mennonite School boys and girls golf teams were in action Monday and Tuesday of this week.

On Monday night IMS traveled to Cedarcrest Country Club in Columbus Junction to battle Louisa-Muscatine and Burlington, Notre Dame in triangular action. On the boys side, Notre Dame won the meet with their team score of 160 led by co-medalists Reese Garbose and Quinn Koelker. L-M was second with their team score of 194. IMS took third with a 213. Iowa Mennonite was led by Roman Slabach and Trevor Leyden who shot matching 52s. Other scores for IMS included Drake Brezina with a 53, Caleb Yoder with a 56, Palmer Thomas with a 57 and Adrian Gonzales with a 61.

On the girls side of the same event L-M took the team title with a 210, Burlington, Notre Dame was second with a 213, led by meet medalist Savannah Swanson. IMS did not have enough players to post a team score. They were led on the night by Gretta Rempel with a 60, Lara Kliewer with a 62 and Payton Hart with a 67.

On Tuesday night both the IMS boys and girls teams were in action when they hosted Columbus for a Superconference dual at the Kalona Golf Course. On the boys side of the event Columbus edged IMS 195-212. Dalton Bright of Columbus was the meet medalist with his 45. Other scores for the Wildcats included Ryan Orr with a 46, Erik Rees at 51, John Reese with a 53, Tommy Pretz with a 55 and Brodrick Wittman at 58. Iowa Mennonite was led on the night by Trevor Leyden with a 49. Other scores for IMS included Roman Slabach at 52, Drake Brezina with a 55, Palmer Thomas at 56, Caleb Yoder with a 59 and Adrian Gonzales at 67.

The Columbus girls shot a 195 on the night led by meet medalist Sarah Todd who fired a 45. Other scores for the Wildcats included Kortney Orr at 48, Aubrey Duncan with a 50, Emily Duncan at 52 and Marissa Hafner with a 61. Iowa Mennonite did not post a team score, they were led individually by Gretta Rempel with a 74, Lara Kliewer with a 76 and Payton Hart shot an 88.

The IMS boys and girls golf teams will next be in action Thursday when they host Lone Tree.
