The Iowa Mennonite boys soccer team has found their stride at the midway point of the season, winning their third straight game Monday night 4-1 over Wapello.

IMS got on the board in the 20th minute when Cole Ours crossed the ball to Gerardo Mendoza who found the back of the net. In the final moments of the first half IMS doubled their lead on a goal by Ours. Wapello responded, knocking home a free kick early in the second half to make the score 2-1 but IMS pushed back with a pair of goals to put the game away, one from Mendoza, his second of the night, the other from Nick Hwang. With the win IMS is now 4-4 overall and 4-2 in conference play. Iowa Mennonite will next be in action Thursday when they take on Central Lee.
