Students in grades first through eighth will have a chance to study prehistoric worlds, ghostly stories, graphic design and welding in Washington this summer. Kirkwood for Kids is returning in June with a variety of special classes for varying age groups. Director of the Kirkwood Washington Regional Center Tera Pickens explains priority registration is May 1st and the last date to register is June 1st. She adds there’s been quite a bit of interest this year.

The camp will be held June 20-24th. The goal of the camp is to offer interactive, fun, educational opportunities for area youth. There will be bus routes to help get students in Washington County to the center for camp. For more information click here.
