The Mid-Prairie boys golf team has been in meet action twice this week at the Kalona Golf Course.

On Monday night the Golden Hawks battled the Wilton Beavers in a River Valley Conference dual. Both teams shot 191 but Wilton took the match on a cardback to the fifth score, 55-57. Meet medalist was Jake Fratzke with a 42. The Golden Hawks were led by Michael Callahan who was medalist runner up with his 43. Other scores for Mid-Prairie included Duncan McCain with a 47, Ryan Slaubaugh with a 50, Collin Gingerich at 51, Seth Mann with a 57 and Zach Owens with a 59.

On Tuesday night Mid-Prairie hosted Washington and Columbus in a non-conference triangular. Washington won the event with their team score of 176. Derek Anding and Dalton Meyers each shot 43s to lead the Demons and take medalist honors. Other scores for Washington included Jacob Van Osdol with a 44, Noah Enfield and Tanner Coleman with 46s and Mason Rich with a 56.

Columbus was second with their team score of 192. The Wildcats were led by John Rees with a 46. Other scores for Columbus included Ryan Orr with a 47, Brodrick Whittmann with a 49, Erik Rees at 50, Dalton Bright with a 52 and Tommy Pretz with a 59.

Mid-Prairie was led on the night by Michael Callahan with a 44. Other scores for the Golden Hawks included Ryan Slaubaugh with a 50, Duncan McCain at 55, Zach Owens with a 56, Collin Gingerich at 59 and Seth Mann with a 62.
