On Monday, March 28th, the Mid-Prairie School District held interviews with five finalist candidates for the high school principal position. Mid-Prairie Superintendent Mark Schneider said these final interviews had candidates involved in conversations with 45 individuals including administrators, parents, students, and community leaders throughout the day. The candidates were also required to participate in a writing exercise, and had an opportunity to converse with current high school principal Jim Cayton.

The next steps in the process are background and reference checks on the finalists and review of their predictive index results. Schneider says that they would like to have a candidate selected within the next week.
