At their most recent meeting the Mid-Prairie School board had a final discussion regarding High School addition bids.

The projects had been restructured since a prior round of bids in order to save money. All bids for the available contracts were accepted allowing the process to move forward. In total the rebidding and restructuring process saved the district around $20,000. The high school addition and  new construction of the central office/alternative learning center are the final construction projects from the 2014 bond issue. The timetable is for some construction to begin before this school year is out and for full construction to begin over the summer with some projects wrapping up by the end of the calendar year. The goal is for all projects to be completed by the end of the 2017 school year.
