The Mid-Prairie boys soccer team got back on the winning track Monday night at Highland, scoring a 3-1 win over the Huskies on the road.

The Golden Hawks controlled action in the first half but were unable to break through on any of their chances, leaving the game scoreless through the first 40 minutes. In the second half Mid-Prairie got on the board in the 51st minute on a hustle goal from Tyler Verstraete. 10 minutes later the Golden Hawks doubled their lead on a David Bayliss penalty kick goal. The Golden Hawks wrapped up their scoring with an insurance goal to push the lead to 3-0. The Huskies got on the board in the final minutes on a Tereze Lanfair finish. With the win Mid-Prairie is now 2-5 on the year, with the loss Highland falls to 2-6.
