The Keota City Council will meet in regular session Monday. Among other items on the agenda, the council will consider moving the museum. At a previous council meeting Melinda Eakins and Denny Lyle with the Keota Visioning Committee gave the council an update on the progress made on the trailhead. Eakins informed the council that there is an interested donor willing to help pay for a new museum to hold the Keota artifacts and they would like to place it by the trailhead. The building would incorporate restrooms and there would be picnic area in that location. More information was requested. The meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. at Keota City Hall.
