Washington High School students will join 5,000 conference delegates and attend the Business Professionals of America 2016 National Leadership Conference next month. While there, Brenna Weidman, Kylee Porter and Sean Zimmer will be recognized for earning their Ambassador Level Torch awards. The students will take part in national level business skills competitions, workshops, general sessions and the national officer candidate campaigns and elections. The conference is being held in Boston May 5-9.

Earlier this year, 33 Washington High School students competed at the Iowa State Leadership Conference in Des Moines. The chapter members attending are Peyton Cuddeback, Weidman, Porter, Zimmer, Ryan Reighard, Molly Sparks and Kaitlyn Stalder. Also, Brooke Stout was elected to serve as the 2016-2017 Iowa State Business Professionals of America Secretary-Treasurer.
