Here are the results so far from day three of the Iowa Girls and Boys State Track and Field Meet in Des Moines.

3:30 p.m. update
The Winfield-Mount Union Wolves ran in the finals of the Class 1A 4×100 meter relay. The crew of senior Zach Davis, senior Garrett Baker, junior Bryce Robison, and senior Ross Vantiger clocked one lap around the track in 44.46 second, taking fifth place overall.

3:15 p.m. update
Two area girls’ track teams took part in the finals of the Class 1A 4×100 meter relay. The Sigourney Savages crew of freshman Summer Barthelman, sophomore Brooke Waechter, sophomore Leah Carter, and sophomore Autum Barthelman crossed the finish line in 52.07 seconds, the seventh best performance. The Highland Huskies squad of freshman Sarah Schneider, junior Kelsey Hora, sophomore Sydney Black and freshman Aly Stokes was disqualified from the event.

2:45 p.m. update
Mid-Prairie sophomore Anna Hostetler is the Class 1A girls 1500 meter run champion. She posted a time of 4:38.96, topping the field by nearly five seconds. Pekin senior Gwynne Wright placed second with a time of 4:43.92.

2:15 p.m. update
A pair of area athletes posted top-12 finishes in the Class 2A 1600 meter run. Pekin junior Ryan Millikin clocked his mile in 4:29.51, the third best overall. Mid-Prairie sophomore Luke Sigler crossed the finish line in 4:36.15, placing 13th.

Three area distance runners posted top-12 finishes in the Class 1A 1600 meter run, two from Winfield-Mount Union. Highland senior Keiffer Sexton clocked his final high school mile in 4:29.91, placing him second in field, four seconds behind North Union sophomore Riley Bauer for the state championship. W-MU junior Gavin Benzce finished in ninth place with a time of 4:39.3, while senior John Quinn placed 11th with a time of 4:42.82.

2 p.m. update
WACO senior Bryce Achen is the Class 1A boys 200 meter state champion. His sprint was clocked at 22.45 seconds, eding the field by four-tenths of a second.

1 p.m. update
WACO senior Bryce Achen competed in the Class 1A boys 110 meter hurdles. He finished the race with a time of 15.2 seconds, taking third place overall.

12:45 p.m. update
Sigourney sophomore Autum Barthelman participated in the Class 1A girls 100 meter hurdles. She finished with a time of 15.99 seconds, taking fourth place overall.

12:30 update
Sigourney sophomore Autum Barthelman competed in the finals of the Class 1A girls’ 100 meter dash. Her time of 13.1 seconds was the third best finish in the field.

Columbus senior Mauricio Ramirez completed his high school track career in the Class 2A boys’ 100 meter dash final. His time of 11.28 seconds was the sixth best finish.

Winfield-Mount Union senior Garrett Baker placed eighth in the Class 1A boys’ 100 meter dash. Due to injury, he crossed the finish line in 22.74 seconds.

10:45 a.m. update
Two area girls posted top-10 finishes in the Class 2A girls 800 meter run. Pekin senior Gwynne Wright clocked her final high school half mile race at 2:14.68, placing second overall and earning the Panthers’ eight team points. Mid-Prairie sophomore Anna Hostetler finished two laps around the track in 2:17.86, finishing seventh overall and earning the Golden Hawks two team points.

Wapello sophomore Logan Belzer came away with a top-15 finish in the Class 2A boys 800 meter run. His time of 2:01.5 was 12th best finish in the field.

W-MU senior John Quinn posted a top-15 performance in the Class 1A boys 800 meter run. He clocked his half mile race at 2:04.19, the 14th best in the field. Lone Tree sophomore Brock Smith also competed in the 800 meter run, clocking a time of 2:06.52, placing 22nd overall.

9:45 a.m. update
The Wapello Arrows track team competed in the Class 2A girls’ shuttle hurdle relay final. The group of junior Karlee Carey, junior Alexis Talbot, freshman Kenna Lanz, and sophomore Tiffany Parsons clocked their race in 1:54.78, the 18th best finish.
