Nathaniel Anthony Tallent-Jenkins

A Brighton man was arrested on warrants from Washington County and Jefferson County Thursday for numerous charges, including drug and weapons charges. According to Washington County Communications, at 9:40 a.m. a deputy was at a residence in Brighton with 23-year-old Nathaniel Anthony Tallent-Jenkins of Brighton. Tallent-Jenkins was wanted on charges of burglary in the second degree, domestic abuse assault impending air or blood flow causing bodily injury, criminal mischief in the third degree, harassment in the first degree, domestic abuse assault with display or use of a weapon in the first degree and reckless driving. Bond was set at $25,300 cash only.

The Washington County warrant relates to an assault near the intersection of Pleasant Plain Road west of Brighton with a female subject asking people to pull over for help the evening of Friday, May 13th. According to the incident report, the male subject left in a black car towards Jefferson County. At that time, Washington County Sheriff’s deputies, Brighton QRS and Washington County Ambulance responded and the ambulance transported one female subject to Washington County Hospital and Clinics.

Thursday, a hold was also placed for two Jefferson County warrants for possession of a controlled substance – marijuana first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
