The Bryson Block Building on the west side of Washington’s square is undergoing structural work. Terry Philips with T.K. Enterprises explains the main support in the middle of the building has settled about three-quarters of an inch, causing stress so they are installing temporary supports. Under the advice of structural engineers, these supports will allow them to replace the concrete under the steel pole. The sidewalk is closed temporarily while the work is being done and The Village remains open and can be access through the north door.
