The Mid-Prairie girls soccer team rebounded from a tough loss to West Liberty last week by edging Cedar Valley Christian 3-2.

The Golden Hawks got the job done on the strength of a hat trick from Addison Rath, the third time she has accomplished the feat this year. Her 14 goals this season place her seventh in the state in all of class 1A. Natalie Graber had the assist on all three goals, moving her season total for helpers to eight, which is sixth best in Iowa in class 1A. With the win the Golden Hawks are now 5-3 on the season.
