HazMat services and a confinement feeding operation are on the agenda for Tuesday’s Washington County Board of Supervisors meeting. Last week the board tabled action on the hazmat services agreement with Muscatine Fire Department until county attorney Shawn Showers can review it. The department is requesting a fee increase from $1,800 annually to 25-cents per capita, which equals about $5,500. Also, they’ll consider construction for a confinement feeding operation in section 6 of Highland Township. The last item on the agenda is discussion of pipeline inspection services with the county engineer. The meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Washington County Courthouse.
