The Iowa Mennonite boys soccer team dropped a conference match with the visiting No. 10 ranked Danville Bears Thursday night by a 3-1 score.

Scoring chances were at a premium in the first half with the majority of the action confined to the midfield, leaving the game in a scoreless tie going to intermission. In the second half Danville turned up the offensive pressure and was able to break through with a goal five minutes in, taking a 1-0 lead. The next 15 minutes was controlled by IMS but they were unable to put together a quality chance. The Bears took advantage with a pair of counterattack goals for insurance in the final 10 minutes, stretching their lead to 3-0. IMS got on the board very late with a goal from Isaiah Swantz.

With the loss IMS falls to 5-6 overall on the season.
