The Anabaptist churches in Southeastern Iowa are sponsoring the 37th annual Iowa Mennonite Relief Sale. The event will be held June 3-4 at the Johnson County fairgrounds in Iowa City. The main event will be a quilt auction with over 100 locally-made quilts. Additionally, attendees can expect to find handmade furniture and crafts, special activities for children, free live music on Friday evening, and lots of homemade food. All proceeds of the sale will go to the Mennonite Central Committee, which works towards global relief, development, and peace building.
