At Monday’s meeting the Keota City Council heard the latest update from the city’s Public Works Department.

Keota Public Works Director Kevin Slaubaugh stated that the Emerald Ash Borer has begun to affect trees in the city and the department is responding by removing those trees around the city. The Keota Public Works Department also plans on flushing water mains in town May 9th and 10th. The department has also begun work to repair and prepare the pool at Lagos Acres Golf Course in Keota for the summer season.
