The Keota School Board held a short meeting Monday afternoon to approve the agreement with the Keota Education Association for the master contract for next year. Keota Superintendent Mark Schneider explained that every year, they negotiate with the teachers on salary and benefits for the following year. The board reached agreement for that on Friday, and the meeting Monday was to approve that agreement. The Keota teachers are expected to meet this week to vote on the agreed upon figures. Next school year, Keota will share a superintendent with Tri-County School District.
