Former Mid-Prairie standout Mallory McArtor has been recognized by the Iowa Conference for her play on the softball diamond this spring.

McArtor, a junior at Coe College in Cedar Rapids was named to the first team all-conference squad this season. McArtor started at shortstop this year for the Kohawks, she ended 2016 hitting .375. Her 15 hits were seventh most in the conference. Her six stolen bases were third most in league play. McArtor also scored eight runs. Coe finished the year 25-10 overall and 6-6 in the Iowa Conference. McArtor is a 2013 graduate of Mid-Prairie High School.
