The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys track team finished the regular season in style Monday night at the Highland Co-ed, capturing the team title.

Mid-Prairie won the event with 140 points. Tipton was second with 128 points. The Golden Hawks scored four event titles on the night. Two came from Levi Duwa in the field events. Duwa bested the field in the discus with his throw of 149’0.5″. Duwa also took the shot put championship with a throw of 53’0.5″. Peyton Miller was also an individual champion for Mid-Prairie, winning the 400m hurdles and setting a new meet record with his time of 57.90 seconds. The Golden Hawk 4×800 team was a winner Monday. The team of Andrew Schwartz, Quinn Schmidt, Ryan Errthum and Peyton Miller finished with a time of 8:28.96, breaking the old meet record by nearly seven seconds.

The Golden Hawks will next be in action Thursday when they travel to West Branch for the River Valley Conference meet.
