According to a WARN, Worker Adjustment and Retaining Notification, issued to employees at Modine Manufacturing Company in Washington the estimate is to have the entire facility closed later this year. Positions held by 60 employees will be eliminated during a two-week period beginning July 15. The closure of the facility was first announced in April 2015, with the closure expected in fiscal year 2018. Modine had employed nearly 250 people. The closure is anticipated to save the company $9 million with the operations of the facility being moved to other states and Mexico.
