Washington sophomore Dalton Myers first trip to the Class 3A state golf tournament concluded Saturday. The Demon underclassman was among 67 golfers to compete at the Spring Valley Course in Livermore.

After posting a 13 over 85 on day one of the tournament, Myers improved his 18-hole round by one stroke on day two by carding a 12 over 85. His two day score of 169 strokes was tied for the 34th best score in the field, improving seven places after the first day of competition.
