Heavy rain is in the forecast through the weekend and there is a high probability of thunderstorms today and Thursday. As of Wednesday morning, Washington’s precipitation for the month is below normal. According to the National Weather Service, Washington’s normal rainfall for the first 24 days of May is 3.66 inches and so far 3.21 inches have been observed.
