Wind gusts reached 29 miles per hour at the Washington Municipal Airport yesterday and today. At 8:55 p.m. Thursday and at 1 a.m. Friday winds were in the high teens with gusts that blew as strong as 29 miles per hour.

Over Wednesday and Thursday, according to the National Weather Service, Washington received 0.2 inches of rain. In the first 26 days of May this year Washington has had 3.41 inches of precipitation, below the normal 3.97 inches. The record high rainfall for Washington for the month of May was set in 1996 with 11.5 inches recorded.
