Saturday, June 4th, will be the 69th edition of Ridiculous Day in downtown Washington. Ridiculous Day will have sales at local shops with bargains and sidewalk sales starting at 9 a.m. The annual bike auction will be at 10 a.m., followed by the princess and superhero contests.

Dean Kurtz shares at noon a thousand rubber ducks will be in the fountain. The fire department’s dive rescue team will have their wet suits on and will get in Centennial Fountain with the rubber ducks and then throw them out to the crowd. Each duck will have a business name written on the bottom and can be redeemed for a $2 bill at that business.

The annual parade will be held at 2 p.m. The KCII Big Red Radio will be on site for all of the ridiculous festivities.
