A steering commitee of employees has been established for the upcoming expansion project at the United Presbyterian Home in Washington. There are seven employees on the committee, representing the 128 employees of the UP Home. Employees are helping to raise money for the project, which will go toward furnishing two sitting areas on the first floor of the new building. The expansion will add 17 private rooms, expansion of the fitness area to include a therapy pool, and development of a 16-bed dementia specific area.
