Several KCII area boys golf teams were in action at Friday’s Class 1A sectional golf meet at Deerwood Golf Course in New London.

The Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves took the sectional title with their score of 348. The Wolves were led by defending state champ Kaleb Hagge and his 74. Other scores for WMU included Kolt Rossiter as medalist runner up with his 80, Darren Hunter at 92, Kash Rossiter and Dalton Spencer with 102s and Graham Hagge with a 103.

Iowa Mennonite finished sixth out of seven teams with their score of 416. IMS was led by Roman Slabach with a 95. Other scores for IMS included Trevor Leyden with a 99, Caleb Yoder with a 107, Drake Brezina and Adrian Gonzales with a 115 and Palmer Thomas with a 137.

Lone Tree finished in seventh place. The Lions were led by Kyler Akers with his 110. Other scores for Lone Tree include Wes Hotz with a 114, Curtis Patterson with a 118, Payton Lorak with a 128, Dalton Hanenburg at 132 and Erik Edens with a 156.

Winfield-Mt. Union will be back on the course for the district meet Friday at Oskaloosa.
