Marr Park is getting some updates this summer, following approval by the conservation board. The Washington County Conservation Board met Thursday, and Conservation Director Steve Anderson said stop signs and crosswalks are being installed in an effort to prevent speeding in the park. The center landscaping project in Marr Park is also now complete. Also, the Sockum Ridge upper road has been repaired, though some of the rock is still large. At Foster Pond, crews were able to fix the drainage problem by using flowable concrete, and that project is now complete.
