Wedding trends have changed over the decades and the Conger House Museum in Washington will have a display this weekend to show changing traditions from the 1840s to the 1970s. The theme of the display is “Getting Hitched” 130 years of weddings in Washington County. Mary Levy shares dresses will be exhibited including early dresses that have color and patterns, up to the modern white wedding dress. The dresses also vary in length and material over the years.

The Washington County Historical Society will have the Conger House Museum open from 1 to 4 p.m. this Sunday.
