The Mid-Prairie softball team traveled to Wilton Saturday morning for a River Valley Conference doubleheader.

The Beavers took game one 7-3. Each team scored three times in the second but the Beavers added on with one each in the third and fourth innings and a pair in the sixth to take the win. Maddi Zahradnek and Caitln Riggan were each two for three. Alex Rath was two for four with a pair of RBI.

In game two Mid-Prairie bounced back for an 8-2 win. The Hawks scored twice in the second inning and added six more in the fifth to build a big lead and coast to the win. Abby Tornow was two for three with two runs scored and an RBI. Amber Kral was two for four with an RBI. Ali Butters was one for three with a homer and a pair of RBI. Cassidy Rourke threw a complete game in the win. Mid-Prairie is now 9-14 on the year and will next be in action tonight when they travel to Bellevue.
