The Iowa Mennonite School baseball team handled Columbus Tuesday night on the road in Southeast Iowa Superconference action 18-4.

IMS scored once in the first, three times in the third and three more times in the fourth to build a 7-0 lead. Columbus got back in the game with four runs in the bottom of the fourth to get within 7-4. Iowa Mennonite exploded in the fifth inning, batting through the order, scoring 11 runs and finishing out the 14 run win. Justin Litwiller was three for four with five RBI and three runs scored. Cole Yoder recorded the win going five innings, giving up five hits, four runs, walking two and striking out six. With the win IMS is now 2-2 on the year, they will be in action tonight against West Burlington.
