The Iowa Mennonite School baseball team got back on the winning track Tuesday night when they hosted Cardinal of Eldon.

IMS got the win by a 6-3 final. IMS jumped up early, scoring twice in the first. They added three more in the fourth inning to take a 5-0 lead. IMS would add one more in the fifth to go up 6-0. The Comets put together a rally in the sixth scoring three times but that was as close as they would get. Cole Yoder led the way for IMS, he was four for four with a run scored. Drake Brezina got the win on the mound. He went five and a third innings, gave up three runs, walked six and struck out 10. With the win IMS is now 4-7 on the year.
