Iowa Mennonite Takes on the Warriors

The Iowa Mennonite School baseball team is back on the diamond tonight at home when they welcome the Van Buren Warriors.

. IMS enters play at 6-11 on the year. Last time on the field they fell at Winfield-Mt. Union 12-2 on Tuesday night. IMS is led on the year by Drake Brezina and his .380 average. Brezina also leads the team with 19 RBI and two home runs. Blake Bontrager has the most time on the mound with 25 innings of work. He has a 4.03 ERA and an overall record of 2-3.

Van Buren comes into tonight at 18-4 on the year. The Warriors beat New London 10-2 on Tuesday at home. Van Buren is led on the season by Will Mertens and his .536 average. Robert Barker and Austin Bartholomew are both hitting above .400 as well. Barker has the most time on the mound. He has thrown 31 innings with a 4-1 overall record. He has an ERA of 0.67.
