The Iowa Mennonite baseball team travels to West Branch tonight to battle the Bears in non-conference action.

IMS enters tonight’s game with a 3-3 record on the early season. In their last recorded action they fell to West Burlington 21-0 on Thursday. Iowa Mennonite is led on the year at the plate by Drake Brezina who is hitting .444. His six RBI on the year also lead the team. On the hill, IMS is led by Blake Bontrager with a 2-0 record. He has worked 12 innings, allowed 11 hits and has an ERA of 1.70.

West Branch enters tonight with a 1-13 overall record. In their last game the Bears lost a slugfest to Highland 16-15. This year the Bears are led at the plate by Alex Hamer and his .395 average. His 12 RBI and 10 runs scored are also best on the team. Brady Lukavsky leads West Branch on the mound with a 1-1 overall record. In his 13 innings, he has allowed 10 hits and five runs, working out to a 2.56 ERA.
