Former Mid-Prairie softball standout Mallory McArtor has received recognition for her work on the diamond at the collegiate level.

The Coe College junior has been named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Midwest Region Team. McArtor, a second team All-Region selection, finished her junior campaign for the Kohawks with a .400 batting average. She scored 31 runs, drove in 30 and finished with eight doubles, four triples, three home runs and 16 stolen bases. The Kohawks ended the season with a 25-10 record.
