Rock ‘n’ Run, Rock ‘n’ Ride and Rock ‘n’ Relax are coming to Washington and Riverside in less than two weeks. On July 9th, the event in honor of Kim Friese and Karen VanOsdol is coming back for its second year to raise funds for cancer research at the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Iowa. Last year, the Rock ‘n’ Ride raised $60,000 for cancer research.

Organizer Susan VanOsdol shares they’ve added a few things to this year’s event, including a three-mil fun run to start the day on the Kewash Trail. The Rock ‘n’ Relax is a dinner with auction and there are only 330 seats. So far 98 people have registered for the bike ride, 24 for the run and 149 for the Rock ‘n’ Relax. To register click here.
