The mercury rose to 93 degrees Thursday and Washington received 0.12 inches of rain. According to the National Weather Service in the first nine days of June, the average temperature has been 68.1 degrees, about half of a degree above normal. The precipitation so far this month is below normal with just over an inch observed and 1.56 inches normal. So far this year, the average temperature has been 43.3 degrees, above the normal 41 degrees. High temperatures are expected to be in the 90’s through Monday. Listen to KCII for weather updates.
