Private camping or home stays are still needed for about 500 of the 20,000 riders coming to Washington for RAGBRAI on July 29th. Yards to pitch tents in, places to park motor homes, spare bedrooms or floor space to sleep on are all needed. Julie Johnson, chair of the housing committee for Washington RAGBRAI, says to host someone all you need to provide is a place to sleep and access to a bathroom and shower. The riders will arrive in Washington around mid-afternoon July 29th and leave around 9 a.m. Saturday. To sign up to host visit RAGBRAIWashington.com.

Also, the committee is looking for around 400 volunteers to host with a variety of tasks from the information center to the beverage garden.
