Three members of this year’s Washington Demon boys’ soccer team (2-11 overall) earned postseason accolades from the coaches of the Southeast Conference.

Freshman Caleb Suchan represents Washington on the league’s first-team all-conference squad. He played center midfield for the Demons, and was one of three Washington players to score five goals this spring. Suchan converted all four of his penalty kick opportunities.

Sophomore Anthony Torres and freshman Garrett Ikerd were Washington’s honorable mention selections. Torres was one of the team’s starting outside midfielders, and Ikerd was one of Demon defenders.

The Demon boys’ soccer team also had three players earn Academic All-Conference honors, which is given to junior and senior players and managers of league schools who post a grade point average of 3.25 or higher. Those include juniors Kyle Anderson and John Dillon, and senior Shelby Mineart.

Washington ended the season with a 2-11 overall record. They lose Christian Mejia and Giovanni Coronel to graduation.
