KCII’s Big Red Radio is ready for day three of Washington’s Summer Classic with today’s Ridiculous Day festivities. Michelle Redlinger, director of the Washington Chamber of Commerce, shares it’s the 69th annual Ridiculous Day. Over 1,000 rubber ducks start out in Centennial Fountain and are then thrown out to the crowd by the local rescue dive team. Each duck has a business name written on the bottom and the duck can be taken to that business and redeemed for a $2 bill. The annual Ridiculous Day Parade begins at 2 p.m.

Festivities continue tonight with a concert at the Washington Municipal Airport. The Summer Classic wraps up tomorrow with Noche Latina in the square.
