The quarterly fee report and the semi-annual report were presented by Washington County Treasurer Jeff Garrett at this week’s Washington County Board of Supervisors meeting and the end of the fiscal year was positive. He reported that the county ended about $3.2 million higher than they had budgeted, with $800,000 from the general fund, $500,000 from the supplemental fund, and $800,000 from secondary roads. He reminded the supervisors to keep in mind that some of the roads projects may be ongoing that began last fiscal year and will end this fiscal year, so that money isn’t reflected in the ending rates. He said overall the funds are stable and healthy.
