While thousands of people pour into Washington for RAGBRAI, local artists’ work is featured in the windows of businesses downtown for the annual Gallery Walk. Jaime Carpenter with the Washington Chamber of Commerce explains the creative event is a chance to showcase the artistic side of Washington. There’s a variety of artwork from photography to fabric art.

The LET’s Center for the Healing and Creative Arts is hosting their second year of Totally Tubular Transformations, which had local artists transform old water softener tubes. The tubes are also on display downtown and can be purchased online through their Facebook page with half of the proceeds going to the artists and half going to the LET’s Center.
