The Iowa Mennonite School is holding a drama camp next week, which will be run once again by the Old Creamery Theater Company. IMS Director of Advancement Jeremy Ours said anytime they can showcase the arts, it’s important to do so in order to give them a fair shake alongside things that get more attention, like athletics. He added IMS tries to make sure their students are well-rounded, so that includes both athletics and arts in addition to other extracurricular activities. The camp is open to kids age 7 and up, and runs from Monday through Friday. The final day of the camp will feature a public performance in Celebration Hall at 7 p.m. Registration is still open and can be done by visiting IowaMennonite.org/Camps.
