The Mid-Prairie School District will once again be utilizing electronic registration for students for the new school year. Superintendent Mark Schneider said they went to e-registration around five years ago, after previously using in-person registration and more recently by mail. He feels by using this system, it simplifies the process considerably. He added the one difficulty they have is because it’s so convenient, people tend to put it off until the last minute. They ask families to complete registration as soon as possible, so that the school has everything they need and teachers can start preparing for classes. Registration will begin in August, and anyone who doesn’t have access to a computer or those who need assistance can go to any district building on Tuesday, August 9th from 3-7 p.m., or Thursday, August 11th from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. to register.
