A section of Juniper Avenue in Washington County will be closed starting next week for about a month for regrading and surfacing. The Washington County Engineer’s Office states the closure will be between G26, or 190th Street, and G20, or 170th Street. DeLong Construction of Washington was awarded the contract for $84,626.40. The work will include reclaiming existing rock, replacing cross road pipes, regrading the road to restore the cross sections, and improving ditch drainage. The project is part of the county’s five year road improvement plan.
