The Riverside City Council will be meeting Monday to discuss several topics including the resignation of Kevin Engel from the water and wastewater department. Engel, who had worked for the city for 15 years, recently tendered his resignation. Other topics of discussion include: a report from Washington County Engineer Jacob Thorius about possible work on Riverside Road; a report from Fire Chief Chad Smothers about the cadet program, sale of used vehicles, and price estimates for a new truck; and a proposal from Doug Havel about building solar panels. The meeting is open to the public and will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Riverside City Hall Council Chambers.
