The lone senior on the 2016 Mid-Prairie baseball team has been selected as an All-district player.

Adam Schrock was a second team All-district performer this year. Schrock went 1-1 on the mound in district play, recording a win in relief over West Liberty in round one and falling to No. 1 Wilton in the second round. Schrock delivered Mid-Prairie’s only runs in a 9-2 second round loss to the Beavers, smacking a two run single.

This season Schrock finished 10th in the River Valley Conference with a 3.16 ERA. He worked 44 innings on the hill, allowing 51 hits and striking out 48 batters. At the plate Schrock led the Hawks with a .322 batting average, his 28 total hits were also best on the team. Mid-Prairie ended the season with a 13-19 overall record.
