The Washington County Conservation Board is no longer accepting any new applications for their new park ranger technician position. The position will involve both law enforcement and park maintenance. Conservation Director Steve Anderson said they have a large pool to choose from. They have between 25 and 35 applicants for the job, and Anderson indicated they have a lot more quality choices than they have positions, which he said is a nice problem to have. Interviews will be conducted soon, and Anderson hopes to have the candidates narrowed down in August.
