As the Washington County Conservation Board enters the new fiscal year, Director Steve Anderson took some time to reflect on the past year. He said it was a record year for attendance at Marr Park, but it was certainly not the only success for the Conservation Board. Usage of the Kewash Nature Trail has increased steadily over the last year, and Anderson said more people than ever have been taking part in their conservation projects. He added the public support and usage of their properties has been both astounding and humbling. Looking forward, Anderson hopes the momentum can continue into the next fiscal year, and they can break records once again. To that end, they’ll continue updating and improving their existing facilities.
