Ribbons and trophies have been awarded and the Washington County Fair comes to a close at the end of the day today following the demolition derby and fireworks. Washington County 4-H and FFA students worked to prepare livestock for the fair and then showed them in the ring, but they were also judged out of the ring. Melissa Schumaker and Patrick Gavin were two herdsmanship judges and they shared with KCII they examined the livestock pens for cleanliness and upkeep.

Overall grand champion market swine was awarded to Rylee Libe and overall grand champion breeding gilt went to Shae Lynn Becker. Grand champion rabbit overall went ot Jason Fulton and supreme breeding sheep champion is Addison Sprouse. Grand champion in market beef was awarded to Taylor Brinning and champion turkey went to Gavin Greiner. For more results click here.
